I hope you are staying well during this crisis.
Right now I am exploring the possibility for parishioners to be able to come to the Church parking lot at selected times on Palm Sunday to receive some palms and a blessing. This would require the following: people would remain in cars, there would be no physical contact, and no "shelter in place" order would be in effect. As we get closer to Palm Sunday (April 5) I will let you know, via this website and email, if this will be possible and the times it will take place.
I continue to ask everyone to pray at least one decade of the rosary each day for the corralling of this virus and for all medical personnel and first responders to help everyone deal with it. Let us pray that through the intercession of Our Blessed Lady, Divine Intervention may be given to the world to bring an end to this horrible virus.
The celebration of Mass at the Cathedral is telecast on Charter Channel 193 on Sundays at 10:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. and on weekdays at 9:00 A.M. It is also available anytime on worcesterdiocese.org.
Please take all necessary precautions as we hope you stay well. Be assured that both myself and Sr. Irene continue to remember you in prayer and are available to help.
Fr. Pat Hawthorne
