OUR LADY OF THE ROSARY PARISH SCHEDULE FOR LENT 2023

LENT 2023: Ash Wednesday is February 22nd, and it begins the Holy Season of Lent. 

Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of both fast and abstinence.  All other Fridays of Lent are days of abstinence.    

ASH WEDNESDAY: Masses will be at 8:00 AM,  12:00 PM, and 6:00 PM.  Ashes will be distributed during each of the three Masses.

HOLY THURSDAY (April 6th)      7:00 PM Mass of the Lord’s Supper

HOLY SATURDAY (April 8th)     7:30 PM EASTER VIGIL

SPECIAL NOTES FOR HOLY WEEK

*There will be an 8:00 AM weekday Mass only on Monday & Tuesday.  On Wednesday, the weekday Mass will be at 6:00 PM (No 8:00 AM Mass on Holy Thursday or Good Friday.)                                                                                     

* There will be NO 4:00 PM Mass on Holy   Saturday (April 8th)                                                                                                 

*Attending the Easter Vigil Mass on Holy Saturday does fulfill your Sunday Mass obligation.                                                       

*There are no confessions on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, or Holy Saturday.                                                                                        

*A reminder that Good Friday is a day of both fast and abstinence.                                                                                                               

The Easter Vigil Mass, on Saturday, April 8th, will begin at 7:30 PM.  This is the earliest that this Mass can begin this year due to the time of the sunset for that day. EASTER KID’S TREAT

Easter Treat-Please try to plan on bringing the little ones to the 10:30 AM Mass on Palm Sunday, April 2nd and the 10:30 AM Mass on Easter Sunday, April 9th.  Immediately following these Masses, everyone is invited to our upstairs gym in the Parish Center to see and enjoy Father Pat’s large Easter inflatables collection and display.  The Easter Bunny will be here with a couple of his friends for pictures.  Each child will receive  a Jesus Easter coloring/activity book and crayons and a candy treat.  Please help us get the word out..
